Chris Stark of the Climate Change Committee (CCC), an independent public agency that advises the British government, said: "We are very worried about the current state of the UK (emissions reduction actions)."

The organization stated in the "Emission Reduction Progress" report submitted to the parliament that key policies and strategies in all aspects, from decarbonization of heating to future North Sea oil production, have been postponed.
